Thousands paticipate in the 2013 Flora Bama Polar Dip
We were on hand and we got tons of pictures and video of the 2013 Polar Bear Dip. The weather was a mild 72 degrees and the Water was chilling 65 degrees with overcast grey skies but that did not scare off the throngs of New Years Day participants as they took to the water at High noon. There were tons of great costumes and there was even Santa and his Reindeers were woeaving there way through the crowd before the High Noon “Dampening of the Crowd”.
